About the Lumio and Google integration
This option is available only while using a browser to access your Google Drive. The option is not available in the Google Drive app.
Lumio users who have Google accounts can use Lumio’s Google integration to create interactive lessons and activities in Lumio by importing files from Google Drive, such as Google Slides, Google Docs, and more. Lumio files created after the integration will also appear in Google Drive, so you can use the standard Google Drive file picker to easily attach Lumio files to assignments you create in Google Classroom.
If you prefer to start your work from Google Drive, you can install the Google Workspace app for Lumio, which enables you to create, open, organize, and share lessons directly from your Google Drive. This may help to simplify your work as you can store and organize all your files in one place.
Either your school’s technical specialist or administrator can enable Google integration, or you as a teacher can set this up yourself.
After you set up Lumio’s Google integration, new files or changes to existing files that you make from Lumio automatically result in that lesson appearing in Google Drive. By default, newly created Lumio files will appear in the Google Drive folder My DriveLumio by
, but you can move them to any other Google Drive folder.
If you make changes to existing Lumio files in Google Drive, the change is not automatically reflected in Lumio. For example, if you delete a lesson in Google Drive, it is not removed from your Lumio My Library files.
