Troubleshooting
The following sections describe how to troubleshoot the most common issues encountered in SMART Meeting Pro. If your problem is not listed, or none of the solutions help resolve the issue you are experiencing, check out the following resource:

The pen and eraser are missing in the Workspace’s toolbar. OR When using the display’s pen, a different behavior occurs such as a pan or an object selection. | Use the SMART Ink dynamic (floating) toolbar to change pen type, color, and other properties. To erase, use the display’s eraser or your palm. |

A warning icon appears on the Meeting button. | SMART Meeting Pro software isn’t connecting with the Microsoft Exchange server. Contact the system administrator for assistance. |
Issue | Solution |
---|---|
You get one of the following error messages when opening a Microsoft Office application: “Please wait while Windows configures the SMART Board Drivers.” OR “Error 1706. No valid source could be found for product SMART Board Drivers. The Windows Installer cannot continue.” | An old version of SMART Product Drivers software is installed on the computer. To fix this, download and install the latest version of SMART Product Drivers and Ink software on the computer. |
After reinstalling or updating SMART Meeting Pro, you get a side-by-side configuration error message. | This error indicates that part of the software wasn't previously uninstalled properly, leaving behind some related Meeting Pro files. Then when trying to reinstall the software, these old files will cause an error to occur during installation. To fix this, follow these steps:
