Troubleshooting Airplay and Chromecast connectivity and stability with SMART Screen Share
This troubleshooting wizard is for technicians and IT professionals.
Make sure the network has been configured properly. See Configuring your organization’s network for a SMART Board display with iQ.
Make sure all devices are on the same subnet. If you are bridging VLANs, software like Bonjour Gateway is required.
Note
SMART cannot provide help with a bridging utility. You must speak to you network device manufacturer.
Make sure the interactive display’s firmware is updated.
Make sure the software on all devices that are sharing their screen is updated.
Make sure the software on all network equipment is updated.
As Screen Sharing is still a developing technology, issue resolution can come from multiple places.
