Troubleshooting
The following sections describe how to troubleshoot the most common issues encountered while using iQ on a display. If your problem is not listed, or none of the solutions help resolve the issue you are experiencing, check out the Knowledge base or contact SMART support.

An app or feature is missing or not available. |

I’m unable to sign in to my SMART Account on my display. |

The iQ apps and features do not appear when the display is turned on. |

There is no content from the HDMI video out receptacle. |

When updating the iQ system software with a USB drive, the update process doesn’t start. |
|
After downloading the iQ system software update file from SMART’s website, you receive an error message when you try to extract it. |

The Restart button doesn’t appear after you’ve inserted a USB drive that contains the update file. Note The Restart button won’t appear if the display’s current iQ system software is already the same version or newer than the file on the USB drive. |

Annotations appear only in the Browser and Screen Share apps. |
|
You can’t write or draw on the screen when you press the Freeze button on the SMART Board 7000 or 7000 Pro series interactive display. |

Annotations or ink appear when you touch the SMART Board 6000 or 6000 Pro series interactive display’s screen with a finger. |

Input preview is available only on SMART Board 7000R and 7000R Pro interactive displays, SMART Board 6000S and 6000S Pro interactive displays, SMART Board MX (V2) and MX (V2) Pro series interactive displays, SMART Board 7000 and 7000 Pro series interactive displays.
You can view a connected computer on SMART Board 6000 and 6000 Pro series interactive displays with AM30 appliances .

Windows 10 operating system on an Intel Compute Card is only available if an AM50 iQ appliance is installed in the SMART Board 6000, 6000 Pro, 7000 or 7000 Pro series interactive display.
