Assigning Lumio lessons in Canvas using Google Drive
If you’ve connected both (Lumio) and Canvas to your Google Drive, you can attach your Lumio lesson to an assignment in Canvas via Google Drive.
Tip
If you haven’t connected to Google Drive or don’t want your students working on materials outside of Canvas’s learning management system, you can embed Lumio lessons in your Canvas course as part of the navigation or as an assignment. Learn how.
You can insert a link to a Lumio lesson saved on your Google Drive in an assignment.
To insert a link to a Lumio lesson in an assignment
Sign in to Canvas and select one of your courses from the Courses or Dashboard tab.
Select Assignments from the menu on the left.
Click the + Assignment button.
Add a title and description.
Click the Google Drive icon.
A list of your files in Google Drive appears.
Select a Lumio lesson from the list and click Link.
Note
The Embed option doesn’t work yet.
The lesson link is added to the assignment you’re creating.
Scroll down to Online Entry Options and select Website URL.
Click Save & Publish to make the assignment available to your students.
Tip
