Creating resources for a shared library
Note
You can add and create resources for a shared library only if you are the owner or have edit access to the library.
In Lumio, you can share any kind of classroom resource to a shared library, from a single-page activity to a complete lesson. You are free to share your own work, as long as it is an educational resource and it isn’t restricted by copyright. Your resources can be in any language and from any region.
You can also create new resources directly in a shared library, just as you can in My Library.
This page provides some suggestions for creating resources for a shared library.

The first page is a title page that clearly describes the lesson’s subject matter. Keep in mind that the first page will be the thumbnail that others click when they want to preview or save the resource.
Teacher notes are included (where applicable). These could include additional notes and tips on how you designed the resource (for example, how to deliver activities or exercises you’ve included).
You’ve done a final read-through to check for typos or logical errors.
Included links or videos open properly.
Objects have the correct z-order on the page. For example, movable/editable objects aren’t hidden behind locked objects. |

When content is complex, the design should be simple, and vice versa. For example:
More complex content using simplified design elements, such as a straight banner and minimal graphics.
Simple content using more visually complex design elements, such as a wavy banner and more graphics.
Avoid confusion between headings and body copy by having a clear size difference.
Avoid filling the page all the way. White space directs attention and improves clarity.
Include teacher notes when necessary. Have a page at the beginning of the lesson or use an icon or colored box to clearly indicate teacher notes.
Let graphics enter from off the page to break up "negative space" and to create more visually dynamic layouts.
