You can now join video conferencing in Microsoft Teams (work or school) with one click.

In the desktop version, you must first remove previous or different versions of Teams and install the new Microsoft Teams (work or school). Restart the device. In TeamWorks Room, under Advanced Settings, make sure the Use desktop version option is visible and active.

You can now configure your own SMTP Server and send summary emails and objects from the Workspace.

Join video conferencing with one click in the new desktop version of Webex.

Customize and save up to 6 colors on the Whiteboard toolbar with the new color picker.

Added live attribution to Workspace. You can now identify which user is adding or manipulating content in real-time.

Room Launcher now has an option to automatically hide the bottom bar and QR code during meeting sessions. See Room Settings > Appearance

Updated support for on-premises installations.

New options for automatically sharing displayed inputs when starting video calls.

The microphone mute/unmute button on the TeamWorks Room controller is now synced with the interface of Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet.

Now you can easily add guests to Google Meet from the touch controller.

In the Whiteboard, you can change the color and material or rotate 3D objects in full screen mode with better synchronization (available in TeamWorks Room and the mobile app).

Video conferencing fixes:

• "Error 10" issue when joining a Zoom meeting.

• Resolved an issue that caused the lobby window to disappear when starting a Zoom meeting.

• Resolved issues with auto join and the camera and microphone switches in Microsoft Teams for web.

• The video conference window no longer remains in the background after ending screen sharing while using multiple monitors.

• Improved Microsoft Teams meeting management for low-powered (RAM or CPU) compute platforms.

Fixed the issue where Microsoft 365 calendar did not refresh correctly under certain conditions.

Fixed the issue where the Microsoft token used for the Teams Instant Meeting was lost if the room calendar was a Google account, after the TeamWorks update.

Fixed the issue that prevented the audio stream from being played in the room if the room microphone was muted.

Cannot yet open workspace (.rmg) files saved in SMART TeamWorks 4 in SMART TeamWorks 5 workspaces. If you still need to access TeamWorks 4 saved workspaces, you might want to continue using SMART TeamWorks 4 until these files are supported in SMART TeamWorks 5.

SMART TeamWorks is now available in Microsoft Azure Entra App Gallery to support IT provisioning of single sign-on and OAuth rights.

Revamped bottom bar and table console for better representation of AV state and room control across Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, and Google Meet. Fixed so buttons truly represent current state and removed Chrome extension.

Added an option in settings to turn off the ability to start an instant meeting when the room is booked for a meeting. This option is off by default.

Added an option to lock down the meeting room and enforce users to check into the meeting before using the display.

Fixed the issue when trying to join a meeting from a mobile device without the TeamWorks app installed, using the QR code wouldn’t work. Now when scanning the QR code to join, if no app is installed, you will be redirected to the joinroom.me web app as expected.

Improved experience when closing or extending meetings. Previously, the window wouldn’t always appear to count down when the meeting was about to end. Now a message appears more consistently prompting you to extend or close the meeting before the meeting ends.

Improved error messaging during the activation process.

Unable to open workspace (.rmg) files saved from SMART TeamWorks 4 in SMART TeamWorks 5 workspaces. Customers who still need to access saved workspaces from TeamWorks 4, may want to continue using SMART TeamWorks 4 until these files can be support in SMART TeamWorks 5.

Use the SMART TeamWorks client app to scan the QR code shown in the launcher or workspace to access your cloud accounts, personal meetings, and to join a workspace instantly.

Access your web conference calls without an app. Join a web conference by scanning the QR code and copy the web conference URL or link into the redirected web page to go directly to your personal conference call.

Use the simplified configuration wizard to quickly install and set up SMART TeamWorks Room. This wizard also installs the necessary components for Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex, and Google Chrome.

Grant temporary guest access to files in OneDrive. Edit or view files using Office365 Web apps in an active workspace session. After you end the session, the room can no longer access the file, maintaining privacy and security.

Use the SMART TeamWorks admin portal to remotely manage licenses, view usage statistics, and manage TeamWorks Room accounts.

Easily share, save, and resume a collaborative workspace.

Use the free TeamWorks contributor apps with 100 MB of storage to save your workspaces to continue working on them outside of the room.

Host a workspace from the app and get 2 GB of storage when yourpersonal app account is connected to a paid workspace hosting or server account.
