SMART TeamWorks App for Android devices
Use the SMART TeamWorks App for Android devices to join a SMART TeamWorks Room meeting. From TeamWorks App, you can contribute to the whiteboard, collaborate with other participants, and control the session remotely.
Before you download the app, make sure your Android device is running Android operating system 7.0 or later.
To download the SMART TeamWorks App
Visit support.smarttech.com/downloads/smart-teamworks-downloads.
Select the TeamWorks App for your computer or device: Windows, iOS, or Android.
Download the TeamWorks App.
When you connect your device to a meeting, you may want to enter a display name so the meeting’s organizer knows who’s connected to the meeting. You can change or update the display name at any time in the app’s settings.
To update your display name
Tap
.Tap Nickname.
Enter a name, and then tap SAVE.
When you connect an Office 365, Google, or Dropbox account to the TeamWorks App, you temporarily transfer your credentials safely to SMART TeamWorks Room. You can change or update these details at any time in the app’s settings.
To connect an Office 365, Google, or Dropbox account
Tap
.Tap Office 365, Google, or Dropbox, then tap Continue to go to the sign in page.
Enter the account credentials, and then tap OK.
Note
Make sure the device and room computer are connected to the same network subnet to transfer your credentials.
Open the TeamWorks App.
Tap Scan.
You can switch between the room calendar and your personal calendar.
Open the TeamWorks App.
Tap Disconnect Room.
After you've connected to a SMART TeamWorks room, choose a meeting and tap Start.
After you've connected to a SMART TeamWorks room, choose a session and tap Start.

. You can use the screen of your mobile device to control the pointer, or you can use the buttons below to control the meeting.

Open Microsoft Word on the room computer.

Open Microsoft Excel on the room computer.

Open Microsoft PowerPoint on the room computer.

After you connect to a meeting, the meeting’s organizer can give you read/write access (see Managing participants. When you have read/write access, you can:
Write or draw
Select, move, resize, and rotate objects
Zoom in and out
Add images, files, text, or sticky notes to the page
Change the workspace page’s background
Most of changes you make are visible to everyone who's also connected to that workspace, and you can see their changes as well.
To write or draw
Tap
.Use your finger to write or draw on the workspace page.
To select or move objects
Tap an object to select it. .After it’s selected, use one of the following gestures.

With one finger, press and drag the object.

With two fingers, pinch in or out to make the object smaller or bigger.
Rotate
With two fingers, turn the object to the left or right.
To zoom in and out
With two fingers on the page, pinch in to zoom in or pinch out to zoom out.
To add images, files, text, or sticky notes

Add a file from a shared location. See To add to Shared files.

Use your device’s camera to take a photo and insert it in to the workspace.

Use your device’s camera to record a video and insert it in to the workspace.

Add a photo from your device’s camera roll.

Add a PDF or image file from your device’s saved files.

Add a photo of a document to the workspace. When you select this option, your device automatically tries to take a photo of a document. The image is adjusted to be deskewed, but you can adjust the final image before it’s added to the workspace.

Add text to the workspace. When you select this option, your device's on-screen keyboard appears. Type the text and tap Save after you've finished typing the message.

Add a note to the workspace. After you've added the note, you can select it and and tap to write on it.

Add a shape to the workspace. After you've added the shape, select it and tap to write on it.

Start the augmented reality (AR) camera, which automatically recognizes and crops backgrounds from objects in your photos for inserting into the workspace.
To use the object toolbars
This table describes the tools available when you select an object in the workspace.

Enter Ink mode. Select a pen style, color, and thickness then draw over the object. 
Clone the selected object. 
Send the selected object to the back layer in the workspace. 
Delete the selected object.
When you add files to Shared Files, meeting participants can access the file you uploaded in the Session folder from a TeamWorks Room meeting or in the Shared Files folder on devices.

Camera to use your device’s camera to take a photo or video and insert it in the workspace.
Add from Library to add a photo or video from your device’s camera roll.
Add from Files to add a file from your device’s saved files.
Tap the file to add it to the workspace.

Capture entire page: to take a screen capture of the entire workspace page.
Capture selection: to select an area to capture.
Select a destination for the captured image:
Add to Shared Files: to add the screen capture to Shared Files. See To add to Shared files.
Add to current page: to add the screen capture to the workspace page.
When you’re connected to a meeting, add pages to your workspace if you need more space. You can also clone existing pages or delete pages you no longer need. You can also change the background color of the workspace pages. When your workspace contains more than one page, you can use the arrows to navigate through them.
To add pages

A new page appears at the end.
To add personal notes
Tap

.Tap Personal notes.
A new note appears at the end.
To delete pages

.Select the page you want to delete.
Tap
.The page is deleted.
To clone pages
Tap
.Select the page you want to clone.
Tap
.A duplicate of the selected page is inserted after the selected page.
To change the page’s background color
Browse to the page for which you want to change the background color.
Tap
.Tap Change background color.
Select one of the color options and then tap Done.
You can create a recap of the workspace. Recaps include screen captures of each page in the workspace.
Note
When you create a recap with the TeamWorks App, none of the files in the meeting are included with the recap.
To create a recap
Tap
and then tap
.Type a name for the recap and tap Proceed.
Tap Save to Files. (You can also send the recap in an email or text message.)
Select a location to save the recap and then tap Save in the upper-right corner.
To view a previously saved recap
Tap Meeting recaps.
Tap the recap you want to review.
