Connecting student devices to activities and assessments

Students can complete your lesson activities in a number of ways. You can ask students to come to the SMART Board interactive display and complete an activity as a whole class, or you can enable student device contributions. When you enable student device contributions, students connect their devices (such as phones, tablets, Chromebooks, computers, and so on) to complete the activity individually or in teams.

To enable student device contributions, sign in to your SMART Account to generate a class ID. Students will use this ID to connect to the activity. Additionally, students will use a browser on their devices to navigate to and connect to the activity. After your students have connected, you can start the activity.
