Attaching links to objects

You can attach a link any object on a lesson page, such as a shape, line, image and more to a web page and a lesson page.

Note 

Alternatively, you can add web links to lesson pages instead of objects.

To attach a link to a web page

  1. Select the object.

  2. Click the object’s menu arrow More options, and then select Attach link.

  3. Type or paste a URL in the address box.

  4. (Optional) Click the switch to enable or disable the corner icon Web icon.

  5. Click Attach link.

    If enabled, the Web icon icon appears in the lower-left corner of the object.

To attach a link to a lesson page

  1. Select the object.

  2. Click the object’s menu arrow More options, and then select Attach link.

  3. (Optional) Click the switch to enable or disable the corner icon Web icon.

  4. Click Page Link.

  5. Click the lesson page you want to link the object to.

  6. Click Attach page link.

    If enabled, the Web icon icon appears in the lower-left corner of the object.

To navigate to the linked page

  • In Editing mode or Delivery mode, click the Web icon icon or the object, then the link in the footer.

  • In Delivery mode, you can also click the object to navigate directly to the linked page.

    Tip 

    If a link is attached to an object, the cursor will change to a clicker when you hover over the object.

To remove the attached link

  1. Select the object.

  2. Click the object’s menu arrow More options, then select Remove link.

    The link is removed from the object.
