Use Google Slides for signage
Google Slides provides a simple way to create and manage digital signage content without specialized tools. Multiple contributors can collaborate, update content quickly, and publish slides for display on screens.
To create a presentation for digital signage with Google slides
Open Google Slides.
Click File
Page setup and select Widescreen (16:9).
Click Apply.
Create your slides.
Tips
Use consistent layouts across slides to maintain a uniform look.
Add a clear headline, minimal supporting text, and use one main visual. If a slide feels empty, it is likely easier to read from a distance.
Ensure elements are aligned and spaced evenly.
Use simple transitions such as fade or dissolve and avoid complex animations.

Share
Publish to web.
Set the auto-advance timing for slides, for example, every 10 seconds. Make note of how long the total presentation is as you’ll want to know this for setting the duration this content should be displayed
Select the following options:
Start slideshow as soon as the player loads
Restart slideshow after the last slide
Click Publish.
Copy the URL provided and upload it to your content library.
Design guidelines
Keep content simple
Use one message per slide.
Limit text to a few short lines.
Remove non-essential information.
Use large, readable text
Use large font sizes, for example 60-80 point or larger.
Choose simple, sans-serif fonts.
Use a strong contrast
Use light text on dark backgrounds or vice versa.
Avoid low-contrast color combinations.
Use high-quality visuals
Use high-resolution images, for example 1920 × 1080.
Avoid blurry or stretched images
Use the right presentation settings
Use widescreen 16:9 (1080 × 1920 pixels) slide dimensions.
Set slides to auto-advance and loop continuously.
