Installing

The SMART MultiStylus accessory kit installs easily with supported SMART Board interactive displays. Physical mounting and connecting instructions are provided in the textless installation guide included with the product.

System requirements

Before installing

Consider the following:

• Install the docking station on either side of the display.

• Ensure the mounting surface is clean.

• Allow enough space around the docking station when mounted to prevent damage.

• Avoid locations exposed to moisture or extreme temperatures.

Connecting the docking station

After mounting the docking station, connect the docking station's USB-A cable end to USB Service Port 2 on the display.

When connected correctly, the docking station’s LED will be a solid blue. The LED color indicates its power and pairing status.

Pairing the multistylus

The multistylus must be paired with the docking station before it can be used or customized in the SMART MultiStylus app.

To pair the multistylus

1. Place the multistylus in the docking station.

2. Leave the multistylus docked until the indicator light on the docking station turns solid green.

   Note 

   Pairing happens automatically while the multistylus is docked—no additional setup or software configuration is required.

Once paired, the display recognizes the multistylus and it's ready to use. You can also customize it in the SMART MultiStylus app.
