Finding the currently installed versionTurn on the SMART Board with iQ interactive display.
Tap Settings on the Home screen.
Under System Settings, tap About.
The current system software version appears under Build Number in the Board Details area.
Installing this version
On your computer, download the ZIP file and save it to your computer’s desktop.
Copy the ZIP file to the root directory of a FAT32 formatted USB drive.
Note
The USB drive must accommodate at least 2 GB, and be no larger than 32 GB.
Connect the USB drive to the interactive display.
In the dialog box that appears, tap OK.
Note
If no dialog box appeared, the update file is not the most recent version, or the interactive display already has the latest system software.
Caution
Do not disconnect the USB drive or turn the display off until the installation is complete.
The installation will take several minutes. The screen will turn black, and the display will restart several times. When the installation is complete, the display restarts.
Notes
If the iQ system software doesn’t install, restart the display and try to install the system software again. If you still encounter issues while installing the software, visit this troubleshooting page for solutions.

Embedded apps | Screen Share On an iPad with iOS 12.4.5, the Screen Share app’s audio is out-of-sync or absent. Some devices may have trouble using Miracast to share the screen. Tap Restart Screen Share in the Screen Share lobby. When both Ethernet and Wi-Fi are enabled on the display, the Screen Share app shows the connection information for the Wi-Fi connection. Text may appear blurry when using Google Cast in the Chrome browser or Cast from a Chromebook or a mobile device. Devices that can’t use h.264 cannot share their screen reliably.
