For technical specialists: Connecting SMART Learning Suite Online to G Suite
If you’re a technical specialist in charge of deploying SMART software at your school, connect SMART Learning Suite Online to G Suite to allow teachers to create, open, organize, and share lessons directly from Google Drive, and to enable students to open shared lessons.
When a technical specialist connects SMART Learning Suite (SLS) Online to a school’s G Suite domain, teachers can organize and open their SLS Online lessons directly in Google Drive instead of navigating to suite.smarttech.com to access the lesson library.
This simplifies workflows for schools or districts that already use G Suite, because teachers can store and organize all their files in one place. In addition, teachers can easily access their lessons in Google Drive directly from Google Classroom and students can access lessons shared from these platforms.
To connect SLS Online to G Suite
To complete the procedure below, you must be a G Suite admin who has sufficient privileges to deploy apps to other users.
Go to smarttech.com/GSuiteApp to find the SMART Learning Suite app in the G Suite marketplace.
Select the DOMAIN INSTALL option to deploy the app across your organization.
SMART Learning Suite now appears in Google Drive as an available file type under the New menu for everyone in the domain.
f you choose to deploy to a specific group instead of doing a domain install, make sure the SMART Learning Suite app is deployed to both teachers and students so that students will be able to open SMART Learning Suite lessons shared from Google Drive or Google Classroom.
