Delivering a Workspace activity in SMART Learning Suite Online

Overview

In a Workspace activity students work together on a page to gather and present information.

Running a Workspace activity involves dividing students into teams, beginning the activity, and then using your Workspace dashboard to monitor each team’s progress and provide feedback.

You can add Workspace activities to your lesson in Editing mode or create them on the fly during lesson delivery. See Converting presentation pages and Converting presentation pages during lesson delivery.

In Workspace activities you can divide students into teams or put everyone on one team, so that students can collaborate on a group project. Within their teams, or as a whole class, students work together on a page by contributing and editing content, such as images and digital ink.
