Importing Promethean ActivInspire flipchart files
You can open an ActivInspire flipchart file and convert it to a Notebook file. After the file is converted, you can edit objects on the pages and add new interactive activities, pages, and assessments to complete your lesson.
To import an ActivInspire flipchart file
Select File
Import. The Open dialog appears.
Browse to and select the .flp or .flipchart file you want to import.
Click Open.
SMART Notebook software converts the flipchart and opens it as a new .notebook file.
When SMART Notebook software converts a flipchart file, Notebook converts the .flipchart objects into the best-matching equivalent objects available in Notebook. In some cases, the converted objects might behave different in Notebook than they did in ActivInspire. The items from the original flipchart file become objects that look and behave like the objects you can create in Notebook.
