Accessibility support for students
Lumio supports screen reader navigation for students, from joining a class to accessing and understanding lesson content.
Students can access lesson content using accessibility features, including audio, descriptive alt text and screen reader compatibility.
Go to lumioclass.com in your web browser.
Browse to SIGN IN or join as a guest.
Browse to Join a new class.
Type the class ID (which the teacher provides) into the text box and press Join.
If the session has started, you will be able to browse through the session and content using screen reader and keyboard navigation.
Lumio keyboard shortcuts help users who rely on keyboard navigation or assistive technologies such as screen readers. These shortcuts provide an easy way to move through lessons, interact with the content, and participate in activities.
