• The SMART Mirror whiteboard feature has been removed. Instead, you can use the SMART Whiteboard app to collaborate which not only enables you to use the display’s pen and touch features but it also includes a variety of other interactive and collaborative features.

• The Floating Session ID is now off by default to reduce the risk of unwanted content being shared to the display.

• Miracast touchback is now available, which lets you control shared presentations wirelessly from the display

• An unlimited number of devices can now connect to a session, enabling everyone in the room to join. The display shows the number of people connected and you can invite others from the lobby to share their screen. There is no need to disconnect one device to let another connect. Learn more about enabling unlimited connections.

• Fixed an issue where, after a recent Windows update, the SMART Mirror app would be slow to load or stop responding.

• When in grid view, if one of the presenters disconnects, an image in the grid may disappear (turn black). This can happen when four devices are presenting and there are more than 30 devices connected. To restore the image, maximize then close the affected device’s grid.

• Rotating an iPad from portrait to landscape mode while sharing its screen may cause the image to become distorted and flash.

• It is now possible to use Miracast to share to a SMART Board MX (V3) or SMART Board 6000S (V3) series display.

  Notes 

  • Miracast is not enabled by default. To enable Miracast, open SMART Mirror on the display and tap Settings.

  • Currently only one device can use Miracast to share at a time.

• Removed the option for an additional PIN.

• In the SMART Mirror app for Windows, the default streaming quality is now 1080p.

• When sharing your screen using the SMART Mirror app for macOS, you can now include system audio.
