Export the whiteboard file
The whiteboard saves automatically to the display's Files library. You can open it any time from the Files and resume working on it. You can also choose to export the saved whiteboard as a PDF, SMART Notebook file, or Google Slides deck.
Note
You cannot export a whiteboard file when a Lumio lesson is open, only when you’re working in a local whiteboard file. See the open file instructions for how to create a local whiteboard file. If you’re logged in using a SMART ID, the whiteboard defaults to creating a new Lumio lesson. You can change this default in whiteboard settings.
Share a whiteboard file using a cloud storage app, such as Google Drive or OneDrive.
On the whiteboard’s toolbar, tap More

Share
, then select to share the file as a PDF or a SMART Notebook file.You can select to share to Google Drive or Gmail account, use Quick Share to share with a nearby Android device, or use SMART Share to display a QR code and URL for downloading the file.
On the whiteboard toolbar, tap More

Export As

Select:
PDF to export as a PDF file
Notebook to export it as a SMART Notebook file
Google Slides to export it as a Google Slides deck
Note
If you are working in a Lumio whiteboard file, you will only see the option to export as a PDF file. The PDF file is saved to the Lumio folder in the file manager.
Choose the location to save the file to.
You can save it locally, or to a connected drive or device.
