About your SMART Account

Creating a single SMART Account enables you to sign in and use all of SMART’s platforms and products.

When you set up your SMART Account, you’re prompted to sign in using an existing Google or Microsoft account. A unique SMART ID is created for you based on that sign-in.

Basing your SMART ID on an existing Google or Microsoft account enables you to use your school, work, or personal account username and password to sign in to SMART platforms. There’s no new username and password to keep track of.

Setting up a SMART Account also connects your files across SMART platforms. If you’re using a SMART Board display with iQ while signed in to your SMART Account, the display syncs its File Library with your SMART Account. Files you’ve shared from SMART Notebook or saved to your Lumio by SMART (Lumio) Home page are available directly from the display.

After you’ve set up a SMART Account, you can visit your SMART Account settings page at myaccount.smarttech.com to manage your profile. Learn more about managing your SMART Account.
