About SMART Diagnostics
DViT (Digital Vision Touch) technology uses digital cameras to track the position of your finger or the pen tray pen on the interactive screen. Many SMART Board interactive displays use DViT technology. The cameras in these products require very precise configuration, and corrective measures might sometimes be necessary. You can use SMART Diagnostics to troubleshoot a variety of camera problems and adjust many of the camera settings.
Use SMART Diagnostics to determine your hardware’s current status. You can open the log files the program produces in any text editor.
You can move or share information from SMART Diagnostics to other programs by copying text, and then pasting it in another program.
