Caution 

Only install this firmware on 75" SMART Board MX displays (models SBID-MX375, SBID-MX275, and SBID-MX075).

  1. On your computer, download the ZIP file and extract it to your computer’s desktop (the file has envelope in the name).

  2. Browse to the MX folder within the files that you extracted and open the MX folder.

  3. Copy the update.zip file to the root directory of a FAT32 formatted USB drive.

    Note 

    The USB drive must have at least 1 GB of memory free.

  4. Connect the USB drive to the display USB receptacle at the front of the display.

  5. PressMenu on the front control panel, and then select UpdateCheck.

    A dialog box appears.

  6. Select the firmware file on the USB drive.

    The display installs the firmware and will restart.

    Notes 

    • Don’t turn off the display or unplug the USB drive while the firmware is being installed.

    • This software includes open source code and those licenses are viewable within your device by navigating to Settings, or by clicking here.

  1. Turn on the display.

  2. PressMenu on the front control panel.

  3. Select AboutMX system version.

    In the field, you’ll see XD_M648_A_xx_#.#, where xx represents the display size and #.# represents the version number of the currently installed software.
