Using File Manager

Use the File Manager to view images, or play audio or videos saved on the display.
File Manager on the display is very similar to Windows Explorer or Finder on Mac computers. You can view images, or play audio or videos that have been saved to the display. As well, you can copy files from a USB drive that’s been connected to the display or copy files from the display to a USB drive.
Any Whiteboard notes that have been exported are saved as .png files in the File Manager.
To open File Manager
Tap
to open the launcher, and then tap
.Tap
.File Manager appears.
To view an export from the Whiteboard app
Export your drawing from the Whiteboard app. See Exporting notes.
Remember the folder name.
In File Manager, browse to the folder and tap it.
Tap the .png file.
To view a picture, play an audio file or watch a video
In File Manager, tap the file
To stop viewing content
Tap
to open the launcher, and then tap
.
To move content from the USB drive to the display
Connect a USB drive to the display on the front connector panel.
Tap
to open the launcher, and then tap
.Tap
.File Manager appears.
Tap USB drive.
Browse to the files you want to move.
Tap the file’s checkbox to select it.
Tap Move.
Tap Local storage.
Browse to the folder you want to move the file to.
Tap the folder to open it.
Tap Paste.
The file is saved to the display and removed from the USB drive.
To copy content from the USB drive to the display
Connect a USB drive to the display on the front connector panel.
Tap
to open the launcher, and then tap
.Tap
.File Manager appears.
Tap USB drive.
Browse to the files you want to move.
Tap the file’s checkbox to select it.
Tap Copy.
Tap Local storage.
Browse to the folder you want to move the file to.
Tap the folder to open it.
Tap Paste.
The file is saved to the display and remains on the USB drive.
To move content from the display to a USB drive
Connect a USB drive to the display on the front connector panel.
Tap
to open the launcher, and then tap
.Tap
.File Manager appears.
Tap Local storage.
Browse to the files you want to move.
Tap the file’s checkbox to select it.
Tap Move.
Tap USB drive.
Browse to the folder you want to move the file to.
Tap the folder to open it.
Tap Paste.
The file is saved to the USB drive and removed from the display.
