• iQ system software

  • You can temporarily lock your display with a PIN to prevent unauthorized access. See Set up a lock screen PIN.

  • In the Apps library, you can select the Featured Content tile to access web apps and content published by partners.

• SMART Whiteboard

  • Use the whole class whiteboard to collaborate with mobile devices in a shared whiteboard session (Education models only). See Adding a whole class page.

  • Edit text annotations with the onscreen keyboard.

  • Persistent session connection information makes it easy to add additional clients to a screen share session.

  • Performance improved while connected with a macOS SMART Screen Share client.

  • You can now view root CA Certificates in the security settings.

• iQ system software

  • SMART Learning Suite Online is now Lumio by SMART. All Lumio users who are signed in to the iQ experience with their SMART Account can access their Lumio lessons from the Lumio folder in the Files Library. For more information, see About the name change to Lumio by SMART.

  • Apps can send notifications to the notification center. See About the iQ experience and navigating the Home screen.

    

  • An updated app store with additional third-party Android apps.

• SMART Notebook Player

  • Change the whiteboard page aspect ratioto 4:3, 16:9, or an extended 16:9.

  • You can write or draw with the display’s pens in a Workspace or Handouts activity in a Lumio file.

  • Lumio users in the free tier can convert their Lumio lesson pages to a Workspace or Handouts activity. See Delivering a Workspace or Handout activity in the iQ experience.

• SMART Remote Management

  • Administrators can use the Advanced messaging feature to send messages from the SMART Remote Management web console to appear on the display.

  • Administrators can trigger a siren from within the SMART web console to be played on the display.

• kapp Whiteboard

  • The kapp Whiteboard is no longer the default whiteboard for Pro series interactive displays. The app is still available in the Apps Library.
