Discontinued products and customer support program for software
Customer support for SMART software is available for the current version and the two previous point versions for as long as you have a valid subscription.
The products listed in the table below are discontinued and are not directly supported by SMART. If you need information about a discontinued software product, links to the product’s online support site are provided in the table below. These links offer information about using, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting.

Terms and definitionsFor the purposes of this page, the following terms are defined as:
Term | Definition |

Discontinued | The software is no longer available to download and has reached end-of-life. The software will receive no further development. From this date, there will be no software updates or bug fixes however, assistance may still be available if you have an active subscription or software maintenance program. |
End-of-support | The product is discontinued. SMART will no longer provide assisted support for the product. Self-serve resources remain available. |

You can upgrade to the latest version of the software if available. Some software requires an active subscription.

Important notice for SMART Notebook activations
After July 1, 2020, customers will not be able to activate any new installations of SMART Notebook version 17.1 or earlier. This change is due to a new, more reliable and secure software activation service, developed as part of our continued investment in software product advancements and security updates.
Please upgrade your version of SMART Notebook software to latest version before June 30, 2020. To upgrade, visit SMART Learning Suite & SMART Notebook download.
