The power bar switch does not light up. |
|
The motor controller clicks twice, then after a moment, three more times. (Two clicks is normal and indicates the controller is working properly.) |
|
The power bar switch lights up, but no sound comes from the controller. |
|
The mount does not move when the up or down buttons on the control switch are pressed. |
|
If the stand lowers but does not move when you try raising it or if you replace the controller, perform a reset by following the steps bellow.
To reset the stand
Make sure there’s nothing below the unit that might restrict its movement.
From the control panel on the front of the unit, press and hold the Down button until the bottom travels all the way down and then rises back up a short distance.
Turn the unit off, wait one minute, and then turn the unit on again.
After the reset, the power bar switch will light up and the motor controller will click twice, then after a moment, click two more times. (The second set of two clicks indicates the object detection system is working properly.)
Note
Repeatedly moving the unit up and down for longer than 2 minutes will make the device go into a protection mode. It will need to cool down for 20 minutes before you can use it again.
If the original issue persists after you complete these procedures, contact SMART technical support.
