The speakers aren’t on. | Make sure the power cable is securely fastened to the power outlet, the power adapter and the speakers. Make sure the power outlet is working by testing it with a different device.

There is no sound, the volume is very low or sounds are distorted or muffled. | Adjust the volume on the speakers and the connected computer and make sure neither are muted. Adjust the connected computer’s audio settings: On Windows computers, right-click the speaker icon in the notification area, select Playback devices. Right-click the SMART interactive product’s icon, select Set as Default Device, and then tap OK. On Mac computers, open System Preferences, tap Sound, and then tap Output.
Adjust the SMART interactive product’s audio settings. Refer to the SMART interactive product’s documentation for more information. Note Some SMART interactive products have a switch for enabling external speakers. Check all audio connections.

There is sound from one speaker, but not the other. | Make sure the speaker balance controls (if any) on the source device are not set to the left or right channel only. Refer to the documentation for the source device. Make sure the cable connecting the speakers is securely fastened and has not been damaged.
