Radiation exposure statement
Model AEM-1: This wireless equipment complies with government limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) radiation. The values shown represent the worst-case results; in normal operation the exposure may be lower. As defined by the FCC OET Bulletin 65, IEEE C95.1, and Canada RSS-102, the maximum SAR limit is 1.6 W/kg over 1 g of tissue.
Model AER-1: This equipment complies with FCC and ISED radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20 cm between the antenna of this device and all nearby persons. This transmitter must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.

Model AEM-1: This equipment complies with EU radiation exposure limits for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 1.5 cm between the radiator and your body.
Note
The minimum distance of 1.5 cm between the radiator (model AEM-1) and your body is achieved when wearing the microphone on the outside of clothing using the included magnetic lapel clip.

Electrical and electronic equipment and batteries contain substances that can be harmful to the environment and to human health. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that products should be disposed of in the appropriate recycling stream and not as regular waste.
The microphone contains a 100 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery (model 421624), and the charging case contains a 300 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery (model 452332). The batteries are replaceable in the microphone and charging case. When replacing a battery recycle and dispose of old batteries in compliance with local rules.

Caution
Replacing a battery with an incorrect type may result in a fire or explosion. Before replacing a battery, confirm the correct model (see above).
Dispose of used batteries in accordance with local hazardous waste regulations.
Do not place batteries in household waste, recycling bins, or landfills. Before taking batteries to a drop‑off center, cover the terminals with non-conductive tape (such as electrical tape).
Do not dispose of batteries in fire; they may rupture or explode.
Keep used batteries intended for disposal out of the reach of children. Even used batteries can pose a health risk and may cause serious or fatal injury.
