Before using your document camera, download the required software to get the most out of your document camera.
Important
Before connecting your document camera to a computer, ensure the latest versions of SMART Notebook and SMART Product Drivers are installed.
The document camera is only compatible with SMART Notebook software through a wired connection.
The SMART Document Camera software can be used through both a wireless and wired connection.
SMART Notebook software and SMART Product DriversSMART Notebook collaborative learning software and SMART Product Drivers are required for the full functionality of the document camera. SMART Notebook software is a presentation tool that displays content captured by the document camera, and SMART Product Drivers enables the touch features of a SMART Board interactive display, creating an interactive learning environment when a display is connected to the document camera.

Download SMART Document Camera softwareGo to smarttech.com/software.
Select SMART Document Camera software for SMART Document Camera 550.
Click DOWNLOAD.
Save the file to a temporary location.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
