Connecting to a network

The appliance requires a network and internet connection for downloading software and firmware updates. The display’s network connection is shared internally with the appliance, or you can connect the appliance to a network independently of the display using the appliance’s Wi-Fi connection or RJ45 jack.

If the display is connected to an Ethernet network, the appliance will use the display’s network connection by default. If the appliance is connected directly to Wi-Fi or Ethernet independently of the display, this connection will override the display’s network connection. (The display's Wi-Fi connection is not accessible to the appliance.)
